Steven Weixler Steven Weixler studied architecture at the University of Kentucky, and it was there he developed his interest in interior design. His background and literacy in architecture brings to the firm and its clients a unique ability to smooth the transition from house to home. His role is to establish an understanding of the clients' needs and to translate those needs into the spatial and technical language that can meet them. His influence can be seen in all of the firm's work, from the architectural detailing of an historic restoration to the integration of advanced electronics in a home theatre to state-of-the-art lighting so critical to one's perception of the built environment. Mr. Weixler is Chairman of the Central Delaware Advocacy Group, a coalition of representatives from fifteen civic associations that span the central Delaware waterfront in Philadelphia. He is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers, the Philadelphia chapter of Classical America and the Philadelphia Athenum Walter Peterson attended Lycoming College following years of intense music study, which taught him the value of economy in composition. This lesson together with an extraordinary knowledge of antiques and the decorative arts has influenced his ability to refine and edit every project. Passionate about detail and known for creating rooms that are architecturally appropriate and a suitable reflection of the client's personality, his interiors are warm and elegant but never pretentious or intimidating. Mr. Peterson worked at the fabric house of Stroheim & Roman before serving as a designer with Robert D. Knipe for five years. A native of Philadelphia, he is a member of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Athenum and the Rosenbach Museum & Library.
