Waynesburg Central High School is an educational institution that serves more than 750 students in grades 9 through 12. Established in 1969, the school offers advanced placement, elective, distance learning and vocational programs. Located in Waynesburg, Pa., it provides courses in vocational agriculture, business education, and family and consumer science. The school also offers instruction in physical education, music and art. Waynesburg Central High School conducts special education classes for students with special needs, as well as operates a band and chorus. The school features a gymnasium, auditorium, swimming pool, cafeteria, and library and media center. In addition, it offers a range of support services that includes meals, medical care and transportation. Waynesburg Central High School is governed by the Central Greene School District.
