History
The Verna Montessori School is a child-centered, private, non-profit, non-denominational school for the teaching of Children's House (3-6 years) and elementary (7-14 years) age children. Verna Montessori School is recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and the Board of Education of the Diocese of Greensburg, through which it has received the state of Pennsylvania approval. VMS offers the purity of the advanced Montessori philosophy, as well as a strong commitment to share with the children healthy Christian values.

Verna Montessori School is a child-centered, private, non-profit, non-denominational school for the teaching of ages 3-14 (Pre-K to 8th). The Sisters of Charity of the Immaculate Conception of Ivrea have administered the school for over 48 years. It is recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and the Board of Education of the Diocese of Greensburg, through which it has received the state of Pennsylvania approval.
