History
The James Vanderlin Co., owned by Jim and Pennie Vanderlin, is a combination of two branch companies: Vantiques Restorations and Nippon Panel. In 1982, the Vanderlins started Vantiques Restorations, bringing together Jim's hobby of refinishing furniture and his managerial experience. Vantiques specializes in the restoration and preservation of heirloom furniture, collectables, and pianos. In 2007, the Vanderlin's upgraded their company by purchasing a larger building which housed Nippon Panel. Nippon Panel, a business well-known for producing quality plaques and wooden products since 1922, was a great addition to The James Vanderlin Co. Nippon creates special bases, plaques, taxidermy panels, directories for professional buildings, frames, display units and desk accessories. In addition to Jim's quarter century experience refinishing wood, The James Vanderlin Co. is fortunate to have the expertise of loyal long-time employees, Rick Bolay, Leo Pena, Chris Cook, and Jim Myers.
