Northside Urban Pathways, also known as NUP, is a charter school that enrolls students in grades 6 through 12. It offers classes in a variety of subjects, such as reading, social studies, science, math, history, sociology, English, language arts, creative writing and computer technology, as well as Chinese language. Northside Urban Pathways also administers art, music, and health and physical education programs. It operates a library that houses a range of books and reference materials. The school is approved by the Pittsburgh Board of Education and is accredited by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association.
