Calvary Baptist Church, an American Baptist Fellowship, sees its mission as being "a family of believers, Christ-like, spirit-filled, glorifying God and growing disciples to be witnesses for Jesus Christ." Music plays a part in worship services, from the bell choir, to the senior choir, to the praise band and kids crew. Coffee fellowship follows worship services. The congregation is sensitive to community and world needs, participating in outreach programs that raise money to combat hunger as well as those that provide prayer and comfort to those in need.
