SPHS Behavioral Health, an affiliate agency of Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services, administers a variety of programs that targets substance abuse and mental health issues. SPHS Behavioral Health has been providing intervention and treatment services for more than 25 years. Founded in 1984, Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services conducts strategic planning, develops programs and provides community services throughout southwestern Pennsylvania through its affiliates. The parent organization and its affiliates maintain more than 50 service locations and employs over 700 professionals and support staff members. It coordinates various family planning, primary care, early intervention, and women s, infant s and children s nutrition programs. Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services mental health program includes clinical, partial hospitalization and residential services.
