Bonura Cabinets
Bonura Cabinets is a family owned business started over forty years ago. Bill Bonura Sr. and sons started a company in the surrounding suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Today, the business is still family owned, under Bill Bonura Jr. As a business, we strive to bring perfection into every aspect of a new or refinished kitchen. Our business foundation was built on an excellent staff that worked at the highest professional caliber to ensure delivered products were exactly what our customers wanted. Today, it is no different. With many years of experience and excellent qualifications, our staff is fully capable to install and refinish products to fit your #1 choice. After an estimate has taken place, our skilled staff will visit your kitchen to remove the cabinet doors, hinges, and related hardware. After completion, the doors will be brought back to our shop in Plum Borough. The cabinet doors will be stripped or sanded in the preparation process. Once the doors are prepared for paint, they will be taken to the spray booth for multiple coats of finish. Once completed, the doors will sit on the rack to dry until they are ready to reapply to the cabinets. While the doors are being refinished, our staff will come into your kitchen to mask, sand, and strip all all remaining kitchen hardware, preparation for paint. After the kitchen cabinets are finished, the doors will be reapplied to the cabinets with hinges and hardware. Our staff will complete the task by cleaning all remnants of our work to refinish your kitchen. After an in-person estimate of your work request, we leverage the 20/20 design tool for visualizing the proposed work. The workers will either come in to take out the old cabinets ( plumbing, electric, countertops, bulkheads etc. ) or they will start installing the new kitchen. Since Bonura Cabinets has 2 lines of cabinets ( Custom, or Haas Cabinet Co. ) there will be different alterations on each job. Workers will install the frames first starting with the wall cabinets, and then eventually moving on to the base cabinets. Once the frames are completely installed, shelves, doors, hardware, and appliances will be installed. A granite or Formica/Wilson Art countertop will be measured for. In the meantime temporary countertops will be temporarily installed as well as a temporary sink to keep your kitchen that s under construction fully functioning.
