Team Hardinger Transportation was established as a one-horse, one-man local delivery service in the late-1800s. In 1969, Samuel Varo and William Schaal purchased what had then evolved into a one-truck operation and began to expand Team Hardinger. The company offers local and long haul transportation, warehousing, on-site storage, vans, flatbeds and specialized equipment. Team Hardinger has access to the local interstate highway system, rail and air service and port access shipping facilities, with direct service to destinations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. During the last decade, Team Hardinger s employment growth increased by more than by 700 percent, power units growth increased nearly 500 percent and annual sales increased by more than 400 percent. Team Hardinger Transportation is located on more than 20 acres of land in Erie, Pa.
