Strayer Middle School
Strayer Middle School offers classes from grades six through eight and enrolls more than 700 students. Its curriculum includes mathematics, reading, English, language arts, science, social studies, arts, business, music, physical and health education and family and consumer sciences. The school offers a variety of athletic opportunities, including hockey, football, soccer, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball and track and field. It has various clubs and organizations, such as technology student association, drama, ski, spelling and chess clubs, the National Junior Honor Society, student council, yearbook, craft activity, school newspaper and art studio. Its guidance department addresses the problems faced by the students. Its special education offers learning, emotional and autistic support classes. The school s library offers various resources and materials for overall development of students. It is operated by the Quakertown Community School District, and is located in Quakertown, Pa.
