History

This family owned and operated business got its name from the ever so popular TV show Bonanza.......the family Ranch was called Ponderosa. Because the Heinlein family liked the show and related to it so they decided to name their 250 acre golf course Ponderosa Golf Lands. Ponderosa was established in 1965 by the late Herbert Heinlein.
