Mercy Behavioral Health, established in 1969, is a community health center offering medical assistance to patients suffering from mental disabilities. It provides diagnosis and treatment for bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders, anxiety, mental illness, drug and alcohol addiction, anger, grief, death and divorce. The services offered by the center include psychiatric rehabilitation and vocational training; crisis intervention and case management; individual and group therapies; and medication management and monitoring. Its staff includes caseworkers, school-based therapists, counselors, clinicians, crisis specialists and nurses. Mercy Behavioral Health is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and is located in Pittsburgh.
