The Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, also known as PFB, is a general farm organization that provides legislative support for farmers and rural families in Pennsylvania. Founded in 1950, the organization offers health insurance, long-distance telephone, and tax and payroll preparation services. It represents farmers on matters related to health insurance reform, Sunday hunting, water rights and wildlife management. The Pennsylvania Farm Bureau also provides assistance with issues concerning farmland preservation, commodity pricing, tort reform and property tax reduction. The organization s business services division offers accounting, business software, and legal advice and consultation solutions. In addition, its monthly publications and newsletters offer information on legislative and organizational changes.
