Established in 1974, Eyer Middle School serves more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It is governed by the East Penn School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. The school s curriculum includes math, science, social studies and language arts. Eyer Middle School offers instruction in the areas of art, music, family and consumer science, and computer and technology education. It also conducts classes in world languages for students in grade eight. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including student council, chorus, band, and science, chess, scrapbook and homework clubs. It provides membership opportunities in the National Junior Honor Society. Eyer Middle School additionally coordinates several sports activities, including softball, volleyball and basketball.
