As the first and only junior roller derby league in Northeastern, PA , NEPA Junior Roller Derby is dedicated to bringing the exciting sport of roller derby to Northeast.We welcome age 6 to 17 years old. We provide opportunities for skaters of all skill levels to learn and play in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Because roller derby is considered an extreme youth sport, NEPA JRD prioritizes safety, with mandated protective equipment and high training standards for coaches and volunteers. NEPA JRD aims to empower our skaters by bringing together participants from diverse communities and helping develop their self-confidence, leadership skills, healthy decision-making, athleticism and overall fitness
