Yes, there really was a Myrna. Well over 40 years ago, Myrna Conn-Kalkbrenner started Myrnas Catering to service Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. She also developed a relationship with the Allegheny County Airport, providing catering to private charter aircrafts. In 1990, Myrna began thinking about retirement. Having worked hard over the years, she began her search for a manager who would uphold her outstanding reputation. That is when she found Tom Dunmyer, one of the present day owners of Myna'ss Catering. Tom is a graduate of Duquesne University with a degree in Business Management. In January of 1995, after working with Myrna for five years, Tom and Mary Lou were able to purchase Mynas Catering, Inc., and Myrna was able to retire with the knowledge they would own and operate the company with the same pride and dedication she had. In August of 2006, Tom and Mary Lous daughter, Carrie, joined the Myna's team. Carrie is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Her degree is in Food Service Management with a concentration in International Hospitality Management.
