Matthew Woodward, MD Matthew James Woodward, MD, is a neurologist and movement disorders specialist with the AHN Neuroscience Institute. He has expertise in administering Botox (cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, tardive dyskinesia, spasticity, drooling) and performing deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming changes for patients with Parkinson’s Disease, Essential Tremor, and Dystonia. Dr. Woodward’s clinical interests include Parkinson’s disease, atypical parkinsonism, essential tremor, ataxia, and dystonia. Dr. Woodward earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He also completed a two-year fellowship in movement disorders at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado. Dr. Woodward is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with additional fellowship training in movement disorders. He is a member of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorders Society, as well as the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Woodward is committed to creating tailored treatment plans for each patient, emphasizing collaboration among specialists and primary care providers to achieve the best outcomes. He welcomes patients ages 18 and older.
