The South Allegheny Early Childhood Center is an educational institution that enrolls more than 195 students in kindergarten through grade one. It offers various age-appropriate athletic, academic and extracurricular programs that focus on the development of the social, emotional, communication, physical and developmental skills. The South Allegheny Early Childhood Center provides the Title I, reading and math recovery and bullying prevention programs. It offers classes in science, math, art, music and physical education. The school maintains a parent-teacher association that helps school staff in planning and organizing various school activities. Located in McKeesport, Pa., the South Allegheny Early Childhood Center is a part of the South Allegheny School District, which also govern an elementary, middle and high school.
