In the late 1950s, the Presbytery of Philadelphia looked out into the suburbs and saw the future. As the population shifted outward in the ensuing years, the church was ready, having bought six acres on Route 202 in New Britain. Today, the Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church is led by Rev. W. Douglas Hood, Jr. On Sundays, traditional service is held at 9am, while an informal service starts at 10:30am.
