Quality fruit products since 1957 Kime's Cider Mill is located in the heart of fruit country in northern Adams County, Pennsylvania, about 10 miles north of historic Getttysburg. The county grows approximately 20, 000 acres of fruit orchards, producing more than 5 million bushels of fruit annually. In 1957, Robert and Cora Kime purchased a farm in Bendersville, Adams County, PA. They started growing fruit and attended farmers markets to sell their produce. A few years later they decided to begin producing apple cider and fruit butters to compliment their fresh fruit sales. Not long after, a peach canning line was installed, where we can tree-ripened peaches during the late summer months. Over the next decade, the Cider Mill flourished, so they decided to commence the farmers markets and dedicate all their efforts into the Cider Mill. In 1980, Robert and Cora's sons, Ricky and Randy, formed a partnership and began learning the business from their parents. For over 50 years now, Kime's Cider Mill has been a family owned and operated enterprise. The 3rd generation is now beginning to learn the business from their fathers. One of the keys to Kime's success is their location. This region of Adams County is well known for its rolling hills and rich fertile soil. Fruit grown here has exceptional flavor. By using tree-ripened fresh fruit, we are able to produce all natural ciders, fruit spreads, sauces, and canned peaches with superior quality and great taste. Our product line now consists of apple and pear ciders ; apple, pear, and pumpkin butter spreads ; apple sauces, apple juice, and canned peaches.
