Love and Learn Children's Center is located in a public works building where local police also operate, so the facility is in a very safe area. There are outdoor play areas, eating areas and a basketball court. In addition to regular daytime programs, Love and Learn offers an after-school program. The head of the infant room has been with the center for 13 years. All of the center's personnel are CPR- and first aid–certified, and they receive an additional six to 12 hours of training a year in the areas of health, nutrition and more. The focus of the training is based on the individual staff member. Love and Learn maintains a waiting list; the center's next opening is in April 2011.
