Founded in 1905, KenCrest is a nonprofit human service agency that serves people with mental retardation and other disabilities. It is one of the largest providers of community-based services for people with developmental disabilities in Pennsylvania and Delaware. The agency serves more than 7,000 children and adults in over 300 locations across the region. Its children and family services division offers early intervention, child care, and residential services. KenCrest s youth and adult services division provides residential, clinical, employment, individual and family support and educational services. The agency is a founding member of a national network of faith-based agencies that serves individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. The network, known as the Lutheran Services in America-Disability Network, includes more than 15 agencies. KenCrest has its administrative office in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
