History
Philadelphian Phil Debs establishes Philip Debs, Jeweler with a single showcase and small safe within the Sylvania Diamond Exchange located at 128 South 8th Street, perpendicular to Jeweler's Row. 1960, Phil's much younger brother Eli joins the business and together they establish Debs Wholesale Jewelers. 1972, after 16 years of having rented space within the exchange, the brothers Debs purchase the building and establish Debs Wholesale Jewelers. 1987, Eli's son Jeffrey, having grown up in the jewelry business and experiencing all aspects of it, becomes a Graduate Gemologist with The Gemological Institute of America. The business changes its name to Debs Jewelers & Gemologists. 1993, Phil retires from the business and Eli and Jeffrey become partners. 2012, A complete inside and out remodeling of the original showroom is completed and the business name changes to Jeffrey Debs Jeweler Gemologist.

Diamond Engagement and Wedding Rings featuring earth-mined AND lab-grown diamonds. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, typically selling for up to 70% less than earth mined and they're certified to be chemically, physically, optically and structurally the same as earth-mined diamonds. Custom-made jewelry featuring computer-aided anf designed engagement rings, wedding rings and jewelry is a specialty of ours. We take the time to educate the customer with how one diamond can greatly differ from another as well as what to look out for so not to be mislead when comparison shopping. The customer's satisfaction is our main focus and we're big on customer service.
