Williamsport Area High School
Williamsport Area High School offers a curriculum for students in grades nine through 12. The school is located in Williamsport, Pa., and is affiliated with the Williamsport Area School District. It has an enrollment of more than 1,800 students and offers a wide range of courses, including English, literature, foreign language, consumer mathematics, algebra, advanced placement calculus, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, astronomy, physics, chemistry, biology, social studies, vocational and industrial arts, fine and visual arts, and health and physical education classes. It also offers a library and media center, computer laboratory, planetarium for astronomy and meteorology courses, a fully equipped science laboratory and music and arts rooms. It also has various clubs and organization, such as drama and key clubs, marching band, orchestra, the Future Business Leaders of America and the National Honor Society. Williamsport Area High School has a variety of sports and athletics activities that include baseball, basketball, football and fencing.
