Indiana County Assistance Office is a part of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, which manages an office of long term living, office of child development and early learning and office of developmental programs. The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare s office of administration works to provide manage the recruitment, placement, retention and allocation of a diverse workforce and encourage and support training and development opportunities for all employees. The department manages a bureau of budget and program support that is responsible for providing support functions for the management of federal grants and revenue, fulfillment of needs-based budget mandates, and administrative, financial and operational support.
