Founded in 1973, Indian Rock Elementary School serves students in grades two through five. Edward Hyatt Elementary is a part of the York Suburban School District. Located in York, Pa., the school imparts reading skills to elementary students through phonics instruction. Additionally, Edward Hyatt Elementary conducts classes in art, music, physical education, library skills, science and computer applications. The school also has a library and media center that provides a variety of resources, such as books, journals, magazines and Internet access. It operates fine arts, computer applications, and health and physical education departments. Edward Indian Rock Elementary School has a staff that includes a psychologist, speech pathologist, and physical and occupational therapists.
