History
Hostetter Realty was founded in 1974 by Donald Hostetter in Cochranville, Chester County. What started as a small real estate firm primarily selling farms and homes has grown into one of the strongest real estate firms in Lancaster County. After the untimely death of Donald in 1980, his daughter Darlene Byler took over the business and has served as the Broker of Record for the company ever since. In 1986, Dwane Hostetter, son of Donald, entered the real estate firm and soon opened another office in New Holland. By this time, the smaller Cochranville office closed. Since then, Hostetter Realty has continually grown and now operates with more than 34 agents and support personnel.
