HistoryThe building was built in 2007, however in prior years we have had a 5 stand before the entire course was established.SpecialtiesBuffer Creek can now seat over 200 people between two pavilions and indoor facilities. This allows plenty of under-roof seating for corporate and fundraising events. Buffer Creek is proud to have hosted the 2013 Pennsylvania State Sporting Clays Championship. The number of registered targets shot at this event makes it the largest state championship to date The course was designed by Master Shooter Gary Bloom, who is well known in the shooting world as one of the top sporting clays course designers in the country. Buffer Creek is located on Brendle Farms in Somerset, PA. The course is located on rolling fields and woodlots. 25 stations are designed on the course with 15 stations that have promatic traps and long range wireless releases being used at all times. These traps are changed for NSCA shoots once a month from April through October. Also available is a 5-stand that is also changed for NSCA shoots once a month from April through October also using wireless releases. Pyramid wobble trap is available from June to fall.
