History
Greenway is a back to basics, eco-friendly and creative approach to child care. We believe that by providing children with a safe, natural, clean environment, along with whole foods, music to learn by and creative outlets, children have the freedom to develop socially, emotionally and physically, while enhancing their critical and creative thinking skills and developing a sense of personal, social responsibility! We are a Reggio/Waldorf hybrid and focus on exploration and real world learning experiences.
Specialties
Our Palmer Township location is the third Greenway site in the Lehigh Valley. It is located in the beautiful Old Orchard section, just off of Freemansburg Avenue between St. Luke's Anderson and Easton Hospital, near local centers of commerce. Greenway is a back to basics, common sense approach to child care. We focus on the whole child in the natural world by combining Reggio and Waldorf/Montessori methods and lots of fresh air and sunshine. We feature an artist of the month, composer/musical genre of the month, organic gardening and the usual abc's and 123's. Our program is 10 years strong in the Lehigh Valley and is based on current child development research. Our teachers are educated, articulate and dedicated to provoking opportunities for exploration, creative engagement and discovery for our children. Together we can change the world.
