History
Prior to adoption, our animals are examined by a vet, dewormed, treated for fleas if needed, given distemper vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Because our adoption fees do not cover the costs of incoming and medical care, we are dependent upon fundraising and the good will and generosity of the local community. If you are interested in assisting with fundraising, volunteering or fostering, please email us.
Specialties
We opened in October 2010 with a mission to relieve the suffering of homeless animals as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We are very proud to be the ONLY all-volunteer, no-kill, cage free animal facility in Lancaster County. We are blessed to have wonderful volunteers committed to providing the best care possible to each of our cats. Our comfortable and homelike facility is a cage-free environment, where our animals are free to run and play together. Because of this freedom, we are able to see and assess their true personalities, which assists us in finding our animals their furever homes. Matching a potential adoptor with the best animal for their situation and lifestyle is one of our top priorities. The health and well-being of our animals is another priority. Because our animals interact with each other, each animal is blood tested for AIDS and Leukemia before being accepted into our facility.
