Dr. Samson is a clinical psychologist who specializes in women’s behavioral health. She takes an integrative approach, working collaboratively with patients to support insight, strengthen skills, and make meaningful changes. She treats primarily women who are pregnant, new mothers, dealing with reproductive issues and/or who have experienced trauma. She provides a mix of supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Her clinical interests include women’s mental health, perinatal mental health, and trauma. Dr. Samson sees patients ages 18 and older and speaks English. Dr. Samson earned her PhD in clinical psychology at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed an internship at the University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center in Pittsburgh. She gained additional experience in her postdoctoral studies at AHN Women’s Behavioral Health, also in Pittsburgh.
