History
In 1977, Ron and Denise DeNunzio launched the opening of DeNunzio's Pizza Villa on Lowry Avenue in Jeannette. In the next few years, the couple established DeNunzio's Italian Restaurant at the same location and added three additional rooms to accommodate patrons. The glass room is quaint, yet elegant, and the golf room pays homage to many local golfers including their twin sons, Ronald and David. 20 years later, in 1997, and in the same week that their third son was born, Michael, the Monroeville location opened its doors. In 2017, an additional dining room, seating up to 65 guests was annexed, and the wrap around bar was expanded to create additional seating for 25 patrons. In 2004, The Italian Chop House had its grand opening at the Arnold Palmer Airport. Guests can enjoy a cocktail on the terrace by the runway while watching the beautiful sunsets, have dinner under the crystal chandeliers, or listen to the sounds of music at the Sinatra Bar.
Specialties
In 1977, Ron DeNunzio established DeNunzio's Pizza Villa in Jeannette, PA. Several months after operating as a take-out only business, nine tables were added for sit down service. It was only a few months later that the demand for dining-in created the impetus to build a main dining room, enlarge and remodel the kitchen, and turn the area of the original pizza shop into a bar/lounge area. As more and more requests arose for large private parties such as bridal and baby showers, birthday and anniversary celebrations, rehearsal dinners, business meetings or bereavement luncheons, the Glass Terrace Room was added. DeNunzio's Restaurant in Jeannette has become an area favorite, known for its friendly service, warm atmosphere, and delicious Italian food.
