Growing up they had a ton of summer jobs assisting their uncles in their family that ran a construction company. Whether it was helping uncle Bill pull well pumps and build decks, to working with uncle Micky and uncle David in there painting business, or gutting houses in south Philadelphia with uncle Joey and then helping him the restoration process of . These boys, Stevie, Frankie and Chris, were always around construction growing up. It was inevitable that they would ultimately find themselves in the industry. They grew up observing the pride and satisfaction their uncles enjoyed. Providing a great service to their customers for an honest wage. This way of doing things with integrity, quality, and honesty and at a reasonable, fair price is what the boys modeled their business after. With the quotes handed down to them by the uncles, they still use them to teach their employees, "In every project we do, shoot for 125% because if by chance you fall short you will be a lot closer to 100%. If you only shoot for a 100% and fall short you might be lucky to get 80%. So no matter how long it takes to get it right, it is worth the end result!" The boys worked during their high school years with an exterior home improvement contractor where they started ripping roofs, carrying shingles up the ladder and cleaning up the ground. They progressed to handing the shingles to the roofing mechanics and after a few years naturally moved up the ladder into a roofer position. This was a time that there were no air guns and power ladder so they learned roofing the old school way. They would sometimes do two roofs a day which was unheard of back then. At the same company they learned to install decks, siding, home additions and kitchens. They worked for this company for 7 years until they felt ready to go out on their own. In 1993, they started DeLeo Brothers Contracting a Residential Home Improvement Company. Today we still pride ourselves as being the highest quality contractor for these projects.
