I believe each individual has unique needs. In Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, treatment focuses on examining the diverse relationships between thoughts, feelings and behaviors, including behaviors that cannot be controlled through rational thought alone. My methods of approach also draw inspiration from related well-established techniques including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (which helps alter patterns of behavior through new alternatives), Solution focused Therapy (a goal-oriented method that directs attention to the desired aspects of health and wholeness), and Motivational Interviewing (a method of support that consciously engages the inherent motivation in individuals as they move through the ambiguities related to the process of change so that ambivalences,which once concealed and prevented goals, are resolved in non-adversarial and non-confrontational ways).

Marriage Counseling provided in a confidential, judgement-free setting using the Gottman method (level III trained therapist). Specialties: anxiety, depression, marital and pre-marital.
