This is the studio of George S. Gaadt, educated at Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. George Gaadt is an artist, illustrator and portrait painter from northwestern Pennsylvania. He has lectured and taught widely on the subjects of art, history, illustration and design. Gaadt has produced art for packaging, publishing, television, sports consumer, advertising, editorial and children's books. His own paintings are often of a historical nature but he is also well-known for his work in the sports world. Gaadt was selected by Art Rooney Jr. to illustrate the Steelers' 75th anniversary poster, which is currently available on the team's website.
