Community College of Allegheny, established in 1966, is a public educational institution that provides postsecondary education. It provides associate degree programs in arts, science and applied science. It additionally provides continuing education programs its students. The other services offered by the school includes child care, job placement and transfer assistance, financial aid, tutoring, career planning, personal and career counseling and supportive services for individuals with disabilities. The college offers more than 150 programs, including transfer programs, business and health-related career, social service career, applied arts, applied service and trade, and engineering and science technologies programs. It also hosts intercollegiate National Junior College Athletic Association and has men s and women s sports teams, including bowling, basketball, volleyball, baseball and golf. Community College of Allegheny is located in Pittsburgh.
