Established in 1919, Cathedral Church of Saint Catharine of Siena offers various prayer and worship programs and services. Its Catholic Youth Organization offers spiritual, academic and athletic programs for the youth. It organizes various events, such as plays, spelling bees, declamation contests and academic bowls. The youth organization additionally participates in the Girls Scouts and Boy Scouts programs, and offers the lip sync competition that is open to children in grades three through eight. The church operates the Cathedral School of Saint Catharine of Siena, a Roman Catholic elementary school serving the families of Saint Catharine of Siena Parish in Pennsylvania. The school enrolls more than 350 students in grades kindergarten through eight, and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Cathedral Church of Saint Catharine of Siena is located in Allentown, Pa.
