History
From sales and advertising to interior design, Stacey grew her reputation, skills, and contacts to build a team and a business of her own. After executive producing a PSA for a nonprofit, Stacey found her calling. Stacey loves everything about production. The people, the behind the scenes, and the visual storytelling create positive energy that ignites a set. The Koi-Fly name was conceived in the memory of two successful thinkers and business people. Wally Grant, Stacey' father, had a love for entrepreneurship, his kids, people, and animals. Wally cherished his Koi fish pond and when he died in 2010, her siblings tattooed a Koi fish on their bodies. Stacey named a company for him. Ed LaCasse, the father of Eric LaCasse, Koi-Fly Co-Founder and DP, worked at Boeing where he was, in essence, an aerospace engineer. He was a meticulously smart man and helped the world fly.
