This Quaker meeting house was erected in 1763. Quakers are part of the Religious Society of Friends, and Birmingham Friends desire young and old to come to a full understanding of the ways and beliefs of their Society. A Quaker school, First-day, is attached to the Birmingham building. Fellowship, peace and social concerns, adult religious education, and youth committees are some of the many focuses of the Birmingham Friends. Also of interest, is the Octagonal Schoolhouse built in 1819. Inside, the building holds an exhibit, literature, and also presents educational videos.
Sunday school is available for school-aged children, and childcare is available for infants and toddlers.
