Bethesda Children's Home, located in Meadville, Pa., is a Christian ministry that provides a range of behavioral health services to children and their families. The institution addresses the social, emotional, spiritual and behavioral health needs of children, families and individuals by providing a continuum of care. The residents are involved in a variety of activities, both indoor and outdoor, which are specifically designed to help facilitate team building, self confidence and conflict management. The residents of the home can participate in its national youth project using mini-bikes in which dirt bikes are used as a behavioral modification tool. Bethesda Children's Home s emergency shelter provides 24-hour service, throughout the year to adolescents of ages 12 through 18.
