I LOVE The Bee's Nest. She is barely open because it's actually a design center that is open by appointment only most days. I guess the last reviewer knows nothing about that sort of thing! And...

This place is barely open, and when it is...not worth it. The merchandise looks nice, but the owner is dishonest. There are plenty of other vintage and antique stores to buy and sell items.

Alex J. Barna Coins & Currency is a tiny shop on Darby Road; blink and risk missing it. But the size of the storefront belies the great quantity of rare and valuable coins inside. After many years collecting comic books and trading cards, the owner began to focus on managing and building collections of U.S. coins and currency for sale to beginning and intermediate enthusiasts. When not in his shop, the owner can be found at a number of trade shows throughout the area. We issue occasional printed catalogues ( lists ), list many of our books on major antiquarian internet sites and are inveterate "quoters" to those who make their wants known to us. Tamerlane Books are members of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers and the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America. We exhibit regularly at ABAA International Book Fairs, as well as many regional Book Fairs and Paper Shows. Tamerlane Books has provided appraisals for Estate, Gift and Insurance for leading institutions and collectors. Finally, we are available by appointment, seven days a week and welcome visitors. Our home is a short drive or train ride from Philadelphia. We have a small, frequently changing and select inventory. Come and see us!
