BARC Early Intervention is a part of BARC, which is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 900 men, women, and children with developmental disabilities through advocacy, early intervention, vocational and residential services. Founded in 1951, the organization is a member of the United Way. BARC provides a range of residential living options in homes and apartments to individuals with developmental disabilities. Its residential options include community living arrangements and intermediate care facilities. The organization s vocational services department provides assessment, training, habilitative support and job placement services to 300 adults. Additionally, it provides early intervention services.
