Boehm's United Church of Christ has a long history. It was established in 1740 when founder Reverend John Philip Boehm began proselytizing to his local neighbors and community members. The current church was originally built in 1818, although it has undergone a number of major renovations and expansions since then. The current congregation consists of 75 members. During the week, knitting and AA meetings are held here. The church's grounds include a large cemetery, recreational areas and a field known as "The Grove" where softball games are played.
