A large park with plenty of shade from elder trees and open fields for running and playing, Bala Cynwyd Park offers a retreat from the nearby busy city. Dog walking is welcome on designated trails, the playgrounds are expansive with plenty of activity for kids and the athletic fields offer football, soccer and baseball games. Tennis and basketball courts are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

McMoran Park

McMoran Park and Playground offers the Bala Cynwyd community a large and well-kept outdoor area. With baseball fields, basketball courts, two large play-ground structures and plenty of walking paths, McMoran Park can accommodate large gatherings without feeling crowded. A dog walking area is designated with clean-up stations for waste disposal.

South Ardmore Park

The South Ardmore Park and Playground encompass an entire city block's worth of green open space. With two complete soccer fields, two full-size basketball courts, five tennis courts, three different playground set-ups and a walking trail that spans the perimeter of the park, there is something for everyone to enjoy the outdoors. Benches are spread out in various places around the park, especially near the walking path, giving you an opportunity to sit down among the trees, flowers and sun. A separate dog walking path at the end of the park gives both animals and humans a quiet, relaxing outdoor walking environment that is close to home.
