History
The idea for ATG Learning Academy started in 2002, inside of a tutoring facility that catered to children who were home schooled. Only a few classes were offered back then. It became apparent the value of individual classroom attention was prized, with some students being enrolled in tutoring every day. Parents began to ask about alternative placement with the small tutoring facility. Since their children were learning so well in this smaller environment, would it be possible to receive diplomas by fulfilling the curriculum? It was then that ATG, not yet a certified academic institution formed a fruitful partnership with Upattinas School in Glenmore, PA. A full time education program was created. The tutoring facility and its staff knew that the natural evolution of what they were doing was to become a non-profit certified private school that specialized in children with learning disabilities. Thus, in 2005, ATG Learning Academy was officially born.
