Altomonte's features an on-site bakery and deli, convenient store hours and a family-run atmosphere.
Italian immigrant Mike Grispino opened a meat shop in Germantown in 1971, then moved to Warminster 10 years later. They opened a second location in Doylestown where they offer "the same service your grandmom received when you went to the butcher shop with her as a child."
Altomonte's cuts quality meat to order for each customer. The shop offers more than 150 cheeses and 100 varieties of meats, as well as fresh and frozen pastas and take out dishes from a hot bar.
The store's ground beef is freshly ground in-house several times each day from the same meats from which it cuts its steaks and roasts.
