The AIDS Community Alliance of South Central Pennsylvania offers community-based health care, housing and educational services to individuals, families and communities who suffer from HIV and AIDS. Founded in 1985 as the Lancaster AIDS Project, it has a work force of more than 20 employees. The AIDS Community Alliance of South Central Pennsylvania also offers case management, food bank, employment counseling, transportation assistance, mental health, housing and translation services. It additionally provides prevention services for low-income women, drug users and gays. The AIDS Community Alliance of South Central Pennsylvania works in partnership with Adams Hanover Counseling Services, Atkins House, Hope Station of Carlisle, Keystone Family Health and Family Service of Lancaster. It is located in Harrisburg, Pa.
