The Western Community Policing Institute (WCPI) is a national training and support network established in 1996. With over 75 years of combined experience, WCPI provides innovative training and technical assistance on issues crucial to community safety, supported by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS). WCPI offers resources such as a toolbox, expert advice, partnerships development, and access to best practices, aiming to enhance community justice systems.
Located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya, Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR acknowledges its historical connection to the Kalapuya people.
