History
Back to Story of Van Hanh Vegetarian Restaurant: Originally a nun who owns and runs it came to US with other women and a monk. The place was originally a temple but the male monk left and she had nothing and was about to lose this place Which is also her home. Her one skill was cooking so she started making food and gradually opened it as restaurant around 2005. From this she was eventually able to buy a temple, then a car. She helps support local Temples and sends money to orphan kids in Vietnam. Most of servers are volunteers from temples. Now she is getting older and has pain in her knees and can't stand up cooking all day so is training younger disciples to help. New year 2020, the restaurant got remodel and start take online order with delivery services for better serve all customers. Future Goal to have Meditation Center near by for anyone can learn/practice meditation beside eating healthy food. Food for thought
