We Believe That Tutoring Makes The Grade. This Is Our Story. Eric Earle believes in tutoring. He's seen it work so many times. He had an idea to start a tutoring and mentoring company in Portland, Oregon. His research showed that there were several other Portland tutoring companies - but he also saw a need that wasn't being properly served. A proud native of Portland himself, Eric had been a tutor for several years before deciding to start Mentor Portland LLC (Tutor Portland) in the summer of 2015, transforming failing students into A scholars, many in fewer than 45 days. When he started Tutor Portland, Eric sought to hire educators he could trust. Before tutoring any Tutor Portland client, each hand-selected candidate tutors Eric first. This makes Tutor Portland unique. We've tried and tested our tutors first. Other tutoring companies simply don't do this. Tutor Portland is dedicated to raising the grades of every student in Portland.
